New Law Enforcement Advocate Starts in Warwick

hiring of Kathryn Holt as law enforcement advocate in collaboration with the Warwick Police Department. Holt previously served as correctional recovery academy counselor at Spectrum Health Systems in Concord, MA.
Holt is responsible for providing immediate services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Warwick. She will work closely with members of the Warwick Police Department and even be involved in
training officers on these issues. Day One supports the efforts of 5 Law Enforcement Advocates in police stations throughout the state. In addition to Holt in Warwick, there are
Advocates in Cranston, East Bay, Northern RI, and Providence. Last year, Day One's Law Enforcement Advocates assisted 2,685 people at ten police stations across the state. In Warwick, 400 people were aided by this program. Note: Photo and interview available upon request. About Day One
