Trainings are FREE Day One - in partnership with the RI Police Chiefs' Association, Department of the Attorney General,
Department of Elderly Affairs and the RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence – is pleased to announce the 2010 Schedule for our Elder Abuse Training for Law Enforcement.
These two-day trainings will be held in 2009 and 2010 to provide law enforcement audiences with information and strategies to effectively recognize and investigate elder abuse cases. All trainings will be
held in Warwick, and police departments are encouraged to send a team of senior citizen police advocates, patrol officers, field training officers, and patrol sergeants and corporals to these events. Individual officer
registrations are also welcome and encouraged. We also encourage attendees from the RI Department of Probation & Parole, Fire Departments and EMS.
