Day One is available to provide expert response, statistical information and local perspective on issues
related to sexual violence. Representatives from our staff are available 24-7 and do our best to respond to media calls immediately.
During business hours call 421-4100 ext. 106. If you reach voicemail, press zero and ask the receptionist to assist you. If you are on-deadline it is best to leave a message directly with the receptionist.
Day One operates an after hours media protocol through the Victims of Crime Helpline (1-800-494-8100). The Helpline can get in contact with the Day one media team 24-7 for media calls. When calling the
Helpline, identify yourself as a member of the media with a sexual assault related call. A member of the Day One media team will respond to your call as soon as possible.
